Canadian Silver Wildlife Series
The Canadian Wildlife silver bullion coins were first introduced by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2011 to celebrate Canada's abundance and variety of wildlife. Struck at the same 0.9999 silver purity as the Mint's renowned silver Maple Leaf bullion coins, they are highly sought after by both investors and collectors.
The obverse of all the coins have a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, along with the inscriptions of Queen Elizabeth II, 5 Dollars and the year of issue. As indicated by those inscriptions, the series feature a face value of 5 Canadian Dollars, however, as a strike containing one ounce of .9999 fine silver, the real value is based on its metal content.
